Now the end is near and what the Bible says to the believer is of more importance than ever. Many things that we have been taught have been in error. The days of tribulation are near and one must know the Word and what is expected of him or her to be able to stand firm during this time. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Do you know the way to the Father? The Bible says that 'all have sinned and come short of the glory of God', and that 'there is none righteous'. There is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross and shed His precious, holy blood to be the sacrifice for all the sins of all the world. Call on His name. Admit that you are a sinner. Beg Him to forgive your sins, and be your sacrifice. Ask Him to be Lord of your life. Confess before men that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life, and you shall be saved. Then be baptised in water as the outward appearance of your inward regeneration, and for the cleansing of your outward flesh. God is a merciful God, who loves His creation,, and does not want to see any of His creation perish. However, God is not a God of accommodation, and will not be mocked. Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Hebbrews 10:26-31 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. |
